Frederick joined the Stillwater team full-time in 2020 as an Analyst after doing a co-op with the firm in 2019. He is responsible for supporting Associates and Deal Leads by completing research, creating target lists, writing client marketing materials, and providing quantitative and qualitative analysis of clients’ businesses.

Prior to joining Stillwater, Frederick worked in asset-liability management, where he supported the operations and strategy team in risk control activities and performance attribution reporting.

Fred believes that selling a business is not just about getting high valuations, but finding good strategic fits to ensure that all parties are happy with the outcome.

He holds a Bachelors’ (Honours) degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Financial Analysis/Risk Management from the University of Waterloo.

Fred enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, and watching sports – particularly soccer – as an avid Werder Bremen and Arsenal supporter.
